PODCAST OBSERVATIONS

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO

I was at Content Marketing World in Cleveland and had fun talking with people who live and breathe marketing. I'm still going through tutorials about Descript trying to up with ways to help people understand this robust software. I'm also getting ready to speak in Dayton Ohio in October.

After loving every it of using Podia for the "new version" of the School of Podcasting, in the world of "Geek" I can't add any scripts to the "head" portion of the site (if you do website stuff that make sense) so 99% of all the cool stuff at App Summo is a no go. So do I have regrets not doing "Plan A" which was to use Teachable and Circle.so put together? A little. Does Podia handle all I need? Yes. I just have to quit looking at the bright shiny objects.

I have a friend in from out of town, and enjoyed some time passing a guitar back and forth and watching the Cleveland Browns lose. Some things never change.

WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE

I purchased the DJI Mic Wireless System to use in Youtube Videos like this one that (again) shows how stupid listennotes stats can be.

Also Steve Carell is AMAZING in the Hulu show "The Patient." It also is a great example of "Keep you audience wondering what happens next." He is a psychiatrist who gets kidnapped by his patient.
