WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO
My 94 year old Aunt (who looks a LOT like My Mom) fell and broke her back. I talked to my cousins and as far as we know nobody stepped on a crack. She is on her way back, and reinforced my opinion that all hospital food is awful.
I spoke at a Utah event on making a bingeable podcast (this will be coming to the School of Podcasting eventually as an episode, I'm still playing with the idea - here is a video I made of me doing the presentation.
Free Classes - Yep, I made some of my classes like using the Volley app, Analyzing Media Hosts and more available for Free.
I launched a new podcast called the Podcast Trailer Show that has (wait for it...) podcast trailers. The episodes are super short. Got a trailer? Upload it at www.podcasttrailershow.com/submit

You know that horrible roll out of podcasting Facebook did (many people don't) well, (shocking) it didn't have much impact so they are rolling right back out. I'll be talking about this on a future episode of the School of Podcasting, but it can be summed up with two words, "who cares..." Disappointing? Sure, but moving on...

WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE
I'm reading the book Find Your Red Thread: Make Your Big Ideas Irresistible this is a book that demands you attention. Read it with a notepad, and do the homework. I was reading it on a treadmill, and I want to start over (I'm in chapter 3) and actually do the work.
I'm half way through the audio book Narrow Podcasting: Make Profitable Connections and Grow Your Business Without Paid Ads, Sponsors, or Thousands of Listeners it is also available as an audiobook.
I just purchased a new dynamic microphone from Sweetwater. Its the PreSonus Revelator Dynamic USB Microphone with Onboard DSP. It is somewhat like having some of the effects of the Rodecaster built into a microphone. It arrives tomorrow.
In the SEO tool world, I liked the Link Whisperer plugin (almost pulled the trigger on it)
