I've had people who want to start doing more videos for Facebook and Youtube, and they have something like the Samson Q2U, the Audio Technica ATR2100, or the Audio Technica AT2005 and they want a shock mount and boom arm for it.
Neewer manufactures inexpensive microphone stands. While they won't compare to something like the Heil PR2, they do work (I have one). Yes, they might be slightly noisier, but if you're not moving the arm around too much they should work fine. The picture shows enough ways to adjust the tension on the arm
There is also a built-in shock mount (which will also limit the sound getting into the microphone) and an additional mount for your camera (the Style II version)
